Giving Online

Glenforest School is committed to developing and nurturing future leaders of tomorrow who have a variety of learning styles! At the heart of our mission is a desire that all our students will have a passion to learn and to share with the world that when you learn differently it is a gift.  In order to best accomplish this mission, GFS depends on the financial support from tuition and fees, endowment funds, and gifts from parents, alumni and friends. Since 1983, our students and families have benefited from the generous support of those who have contributed to the school’s annual fund. While tuition provides for the salaries and benefits of all GFS employees, there is a gap between the funds that tuition provides and the actual cost to educate each student.

When You Invest in Students
The support many of our students receive allows them to reach their full potential in a diverse and supportive environment to later impact the world in their workplace, home, and community. GFS in 2010-2011 has provided families with more than $65,000 in financial aid funded mostly through your generous gifts. Currently 31% of our children receive some level of financial aid.

Invest in the Faculty and Staff  working with our Students
When you give to GFS you invest in the lives of committed faculty and staff! This investment insures that GFS can offer a curriculum that is diverse and supportive.  We challenge our children to reach beyond what others have defined as limitations to them.  We want more for our students!

Why Give?
Your giving is an investment in the lives of students at Glenforest School. The most compelling reason to give is that every gift, regardless of the amount, supports our every day mission of educating student who have a learning challenge so that the child will graduate and become a strong productive member of the South Carolina community.
