Welcome to the Glenforest Library at Glenforest School is West Columbia, SC. We hope to inspire, teach, learn, hear, follow and lead our students, staff and teachers to information on the printed page and digital page. We look forward to exploring books, magazines, audios, videos, websites and other technologies with each of you in order to meet and exceed your information needs. We know there are many questions and we aim to help you discover the answers to each. We look forward to being a positive partner for each of you. We will strive to enlarge our own horizon of knowledge and in doing so, lead by example for each of you.

When We Are Open:
We are open Monday through Friday.
Pamela Hoppock, School Librarian and Computer Instructor will be available to students, parents and staff before and after school, and during lunch, 3rd, 5th and 7th period classes.
The Glenforest School Library will be open during the following hours:
Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:30 to 4:00
Wednesdays and Fridays 7:30 to 3:30
Stop by to say hello and check out some books or magazines.
Your Library Staff:
Pamela Hoppock is your School Librarian. She has a dual Bachelors in English and Theatre and a Masters in Library and Information Science. Mrs. Hoppock has worked in libraries for more than nine years with six years in Youth Services. Mrs. Hoppock is a storyteller, technology enthusiast and literacy specialist. She also serves as Glenforest School’s Computer Instructor. Mrs. Hoppock sees the school library as an information hub to serve the information and research needs of students, staff. She enjoys the school library setting, welcomes suggestions and encourages parents to volunteer their time to help with routine needs and special programs.
What Can You Do To Help:
-Volunteer your time in the Library.
-Join the Library Action Committee. For more information contact your School Librarian, Pamela Hoppock.
-Donate books from our wish, which will be posted soon.
-Participate in our school’s upcoming reading events as they occur.
Be a reading role model; read to yourself and to your children.
