College Planning
Hello and welcome to College Planning here at Glenforest School. As we work with you for College Planning we will be introducing a number of options for each of you in due time. As we talk with your child often about their future please know there is time to make a decision, but we have a schedule to keep in getting to that decision.
We are excited to share in this journey with you and thrilled to see this for your student. Please email us (admin@glenforest.org) with any of your questions.

What About a "Gap Year"?
Are you not sure about next year for college? What about a Gap Year? This is a powerful way to explore who you are and what you want. For example the definition based on Wikipedia: A gap year (also known as year abroad, year out, year off, deferred year, bridging year, time off and time out) is a year during which students take time off and do something other than schooling, such as travel or work. The gap year is most commonly taken after secondary school and before starting university. You can Google for more ideas: Gap Year Program.
